recently the ignition barrel in my vn has completely seized, what can i do about it? Could i possibly swap the entire steering column and replace with a working one or will that just stuff things up more? :( Appreciate your input.

Just replace the ignition barrel.

I saw one on eBay for $16 I think, it comes with 2 keys.

I have a key snapped off in my VP commodore, hopefully I can remove it and tap the broken piece out.

As for changing it, I know that the VR's are relatively easy, but I havent had a good look into changing the VP's yet.....it looks like a different setup to the VR.....

Good luck, let us know how you go :D

you just saved yourself $16!

yeah the keys wear out and make starting an absolute c&#t sometimes. poor keycutting will make things difficult too - make sure you test the keys you get cut on the doors too.
