To be honest with you,it would be a lot easier and in the end cheaper to just buy a 5litre VN.Every time you consider engine swaps you need to realise that there's tranny and exhaust mods to be considered.Diff ratio's may need changing therefore speedos need recalibrating.Seriously with the prices for a good conditionV8 VN these days being around 4 grand you would have to be nuts to consider doing an engine swap from a 6 to an 8.

Yeah, you'd find it just as good to buy a VN 5 litre, pull all the injection gear off it,and carby it,if you want a carbied motor, are you wanting this as a burnout car or whatever?
Cause it would be hard to legalise without gettin engineers certificate aswell.
Though,on the bright side of having this done :D
putting in a carbied motor means no electric computer shit, except your distributor, are you handy at playing mechanic?
cause if you aren't,you'll sure have fun with gearboxes and motor :D
