Bens HZ Statesman
Ben sent us in a couple of pics of his Holden HZ statesman caprice. It runs a rebuilt stock 308 V8 joined to a T400 transmission, which are both about 2 years old. Ben tells us this car is a bit of a cruiser he has restored.
Mods on his holden are pacemaker extractors joined to a 2.25 inch dual exhaust system dumped at the diff. The suspension has been rebuilt with 2.5 inch lowered springs and 235's all round. An alarm with microwave sensors and an immobiliser have been fitted to protect Ben's classic from the scum.
At the moment Ben is happy with the car as a cruiser, but unsure whether he wants to keep it and work the motor, or sell it and buy a something with a bit less wieght.
