VX Commodores
VX Commodores were released in late 2000, and allowed Holden to make some improvements to the new body shape of the VT. The body looks similar to the VT, but the VX has different headlights, and taillights
Engine choice in the VX Commodore was either the Ecotec 3.8 litre 6 cylinder, which was available as supercharged, or a 5.7 Litre Chev Gen 3 V8. Anti-locking brakes became a standard feature in all models of the VX, a great safety improvement. At the time, the competing Falcon is the AU, which most people would not consider as good looking as the VX, so the Commodore sells well.
