TroyandRachel's 6 cylinder vt GTR
Troy and Rachel heard about the site from Jimbo, and sent in pics of their car, a 1998 VT Holden Commodore GTR series 2. The car looks sik on lowered pedders sports suspension, and 17 inch ROH RT mag wheels. Other visual inhancements are tinted windows and silver monaro inside door handles. To help give more grunt, the have added a cold air intake and a k&n filter, and plan to fit a 2.5" exhaust system.
The stereo in this vt commodore consists of a pioneer head set connected to a 600 watt 4 channel alpine amplifier. This drives 400 watt split speakers in the front and 200 watt pioneer 3 way speakers in the back.
**Updated 5/03/04** Troy sent us an email saying he'd had an accident in his vt, which cost him $5200. The good news is he used this to enhance the front end of the car, getting monaro style headlights, a slightly different spoiler and some ss commodore foglights. Good work guys.
