Alpine VT
The story behind my Commodore all started back in 2004. I was visiting my local HSV dealer dreaming of owning a VY Clubsport but in reality knowing I will never be able to afford one. As I was leaving the dealer I walked through the Holden Used Car Lot and saw a stock VT Commodore in perfect condition. After looking at the car for hours and then realizing how similar the body design was to a VY Clubsport. The idea popped in my head. Turn this VT Commodore in to my dream car a VY Clubsport. So I quickly bought the VT and straight away started the conversion.
The first thing that was done was removing the rear sun visor, mud flaps and headlight protectors. The first mod was installing the VY Clubsport Body kit, then a set of 18” Advanti Mags wrapped with Falken tires. Next was to remove the orange VT side indicators and replaced them with clear VX indicators, Also the rear tail lights where removed and replaced with Monaro style lights. The rear center garnish was painted white like the VX commodores to make the brake lights stand out and a few decals where added here and there during the build process. The brake calipers where painted HSV Red and a few other misc things where done such as neons, replacing some broken parts on the car, HSV Badges, Grill Mesh, and heaps more. The most expensive part of the build was the sound system. The VT is fully decked out with an Alpine Sound system getting me plenty of Sound Quality Trophies at local sound offs. The interior of the car features custom speaker pods that I have made out of fiberglass a GPS System, AMR Seat Covers, Fire Extinguisher and custom door cards with red HSV stitching. The car sports a 2 1/2 inch sports exhaust system and Tint-A-Car Formula One Plus (Darkest Legal) window tint.
Future plans for the car is to lower it 3 inches, install a Monaro style fluted bonnet vents and lastly doing up the motor for peak performance. Hopefully when the project is complete I will be able to get my car featured in the number 1 mag Street Commodores.
(PLEASE NOTE THE IMAGE UPLOADED IS OLD AND MISSING ALOT OF THE MODS THAT HAVE NOW BEEN DONE! A NEW IMAGE WILL BE UP SOON THANKYOU)

poor effort
this is a piss poor effort at making it into a vy, you havent changed the bonnet or guards and headlights to suit the vy body, have you changed the dash over? its jsut a vt with a dodgy vy kit, you havent even gone for the one that uses the vx berlina headlights to give it the inner point of the vy its nothing special, although it in a very nice and tidy vt, she's well looked after sealy
