VP Commodores
Holden released the VP commodore in late 1991. The vp was similar to the previous vn, with the same engine sizes, the 3.8L V6 and 5litre V8.
Some notable enhancements on some models was the introduction of independent rear suspension (IRS) to replace the live axles as used in earlier commodores, as well as an ABS option and some anti theft security enhancements.
