Lisa's VN
Hi my name is Lisa and these picture are of my VN Commodore. Yes I realise that it looks nothing like a VN but I assure you that it is. Why not just buy a Statesman you ask...well, why when you can just make one yourself, and the way you like.
It started as a VN Executive and we put the VR - VS front end on, also the front and rear bars. Then we got the interior also out of a VS Statesman. Then we customised the rear quarters by adding the VR glass with the chrome around it. We then removed the boot lock and put the VQ boot garnish on to give it the VQ Statesman look from behind. We painted her in Candy Claret on a silver base. Its one beautiful ride with new rubbers all round and lowered suspension. My new Osaka Sparks just set it off. They are 19x8 with 235 35 Tyres. I've also added the VZSS flutes to the guards just for that special touch. It also has BMW M3 mirrors, they have the indicators in them, just for something different. I want to thank my hubby, Colin, for getting my ride to the way I like it. Well we finally got the 5 litre in. She not only looks good but goes very well too.
Hope you like. Lisa

i totally agree with you lisa. i changed my mind so many times, it was crazy. my heart was set on vy gts 19's for ages. then i kept changing my mind. what size, style, colour. it was a pain in the ass. just fussy, anyway your right, it is personal choice. i actually thought the ss wheels you had on it looked pretty good. keep up the good work. : )

jealous, i don't think so. the wheels are one of the most important parts when trying to build the appearence of the car. i don't think they suit it. good work on trying to be original all the same. it took me about two years to find the right wheels for my car. check it out and tell me what you think. statesman photo's-vs- hsv vs grange.

Then it wouldn't be a one off...would it! Anyone can just buy a statesman. It had to be something that no one else had.
