Turbo Calais VL
Scott sent us in some pictures of his two hot vl commodores he owns.
The first vl is a turbo calais with an RB20. Scotts second hot vl commodore is a executive thats been resprayed has a custom made vs club-sport body kit, 17 inch blitz chrome wheels alpine sound system, genie extractors 2'5 exhaust sass pod filter lowered all round with strut braces.
Scott says he hopes to one day take the rb20 from the turbo calais and throw it into the white one. Scott has also included some pics of him drag racing one of his hot vls at the motorplex.
These are some tough rides scott. I reckon throwing the RB20 from your turbo calais into the white one will create an awesome ride, keep us posted with your hot vls mate.

havent dragged it yet cause the season is over, im hopeing for high 13s out of it, got a hiflow cat as well now. its piked up a fair bit more power with it on, n yeh im a perth boi

engine swap "done"
afta swapping the red turbo into my white vl, goes like a bulit now. NEED better brakes. New pics cummin. Sold red car & my old white vl engine to a guy who lives around the corner . Hes got it up & running, gave the paint job a quick touch up, now its looking pretty good. Sold the car & engine to him for $500, he's happy.

the white one ran a 16.33 @ 140kph runnin a 5spd manual exectraors 2'5 n a pod filter... umm with the turbo motor in stock form im expecting low 14's from it. both cars are at agi rite now getting the engine swapped around will post pics as soon as i got them back.

Just wondering what quater mile times your white vl is running with no turbo, and what you are aiming for when you put in the turbo etc.

the red 1 is a calais but the car has been smashed and a standard nose put back on... cheaper

how come
you make mention that you are putting a turbo in your calais but how come you have no pics...only of two vl's with the stock front??
