Lee's 6 cylinder vl Calais
Lee sent us in some pics of his VL commodore, 1MADVL. This car has just undergone a complete rebuild after it had been sitting outside for 10 years unstarted. The car currently has the standard RB30e engine until it is registered, but has an mx-7 turbo 5 speed manual gearbox, and an lsd disk break rear end.
Inside it has VS Maloo front seats, a VL calais rear seat, console and dash in two tone grey, and walkinshaw door trims. Outside you can see the VL calais nosecone has been added, as well as VT manta rims and a very neat paintjob.
Scroll down to view pics of the life of this vl, from burnout and wedding machine, to sitting idle for 10 years, to being restored to the gem it is now. This is a very neat car Lee, top job. It's looking tops mate cant wait to see what you do to the motor.
