Red VL Commodore
Bear sent us in a pic of his tidy VL sedan. The car is a 3L 6 cylinder. Bear has had it swapped from an auto to a 5 speed manual. He has also fitted a VK 10bolt LSD diff, as well as brock rear springs, a berlina dash and a director rear bar. The stereo in this hot vl consists of a kenwood head unit, kenwood speakers and 15" sub and a sony amp which puts 115 db's.
Bear has just had the front end of his VL commodore replaced and repainted at a cost of $6000, after a crash. Bear says some people may consider this a write-off, but he had a Shannons Insurance agreed value of $8000 on it.
Bear is now searching for vl calais nose cone, director front bar and side skirts and walky bonnet scoop for this, and hopes to one day fit a VS 5 litre engine into it. Bears car features a www.myholden.com sticker on the rear, good on ya mate for supporting our site :D
