hey i just thought i would start up a thread on what is and isn't legal.
if a admin could make this sticky i would highly appreciate this.

Removing your catalic convertor is illegal,
steering wheels without padded centre is illegal.
having rims more than 2 inches from original size is illegal without permit.
Supercharger sticking out bonnet,Illegal in perth

ya its hard to say, i made a set of custom sidepipes for a blokes ute up here and he has no hassles with them

thats rite, around 88-89 was the last of the 96db limit, every car after that has to be 90db or under, i know i used to be an exhaust fitter ;)

So what if you have a VN but its an early 91MY? Does that fall under the MY category or the car model?

hi guys, first post here.


regarding the steering wheel, i heard that if the car was built without an airbag in the steering wheel its ok to have a steering wheel installed without the padded middle.

am i completely wrong?
