I think of the 1k I paid for my lemon $500 was for the sound, $450 was for the stereo and $50 for the body and engine.

Front left tire is slowly deflating.

Found 2 perfectly round drops of transmission fluid on the cardboard in my garage.

Where is the engine number and how many digits does it consist of. I found an 8 number code on the passenger side of the engine...

That's the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

I'm looking for the Engine Number.

nothing with the comp plate.

Can't see the bottom lower half of the engine block.

Inside the inner circle you can see a plate with 8 digits on it, does an engine number consist of 8 digits?

Actually do you know i never actually looked for it and now with the new motor and manual gbox need to advise VIC roads about the change.

hate to dig up an old thread, but in futer for anyone rebuilding a vn-vr v6, leave the balance shaft out, it will idle a little rougher but will give better acceleration, obviously less rotating mass = quicker acceleration, that along with the removal of the bellmouth in the intake manifold, extractors and a nice exhaust will make for a quick little motor, and still mostly retain stock charactoristics
