Hi all

I Bought a 99 VT commodore exec recently. I noticed today that after driving for awhile (about 20km) and i stopped the car, turn the engine off. Theres like a strange whirring or squealing noise coming from the bonnet, also a bit of water dripping from under the car at the front. It lasts for about 5 minutes then goes away, it doesn't happen after short trips... just medium-long ones.

Admittedly i have no clue when it comes to cars mechanically, but does anyone know what this might be? I plan on getting it checked tommorow. I might add that my heater doesn't seem to work or demist... could be related?

maybe your radiator or thermostat is blocked causing too much pressure to build up in your radiator the noise could be the pressure releasing from a loose hose
