I am just renting a new Calais which seems a very nice car - the ride is excellent and the noise levels pretty good too. The engine is at the upper limit of what it can handle - but the V8 would fix that!
What does drive me nuts is the seatbelt reminder chime. There doesn't seem to be any way to disable it and it goes off even if you're parked. What is with Holden? I don't know any other manufacturer that takes such a cheap and nasty approach to this area.

Put the seatbelt around the back of the seat or across the front, it doesn't matter. Then plug it in like you have it on. Give it a go, it works on older cars!

You're right, that stops it, thanks for the idea.
