HI, i have a 1990 v8 vn calais. She keeps on stalling on me and then wont turn over for a few minutes, she is automatic and has an lpg tank in her, which was recently disconnected. She will stall when i idle or when i'm driving. When she stalls, the engine caution light comes on, dont know if this means anything, and there is no spark. Took her into GWD gore, the local holden dealers, and they sent the ignition module away, and it came back with nothing wrong to it, it has had new plugs, leads, coil, and the transmition has been reconditioned. I have been to three differant out fits down here and no one can tell me whats wrong with her, can anyone suggest anything? Thanks for your time, katie

maby it's your crankshaft sensor i had that prob on my vs and vt. try and change that

i had a similar problem with my berlina, it turned out to be a faulty hall effects sensor in the distributor. this could be worth checking out.

sounds like you have a spun bearing on your crankshaft,you have trouble tuning it over because the bearing gets hot and locks the crankshaft

Well people say its a crankshaft sensor and it could be that. But according to me and the experience that i have had with holdens and other cars i reckon it could be a fuel pump problem, injectors. I mean if u checked your crank sensor and it still does that then have a look at what i suggested
