just bought a VT S pack commodore today (first car)
i love my holden and am wishing to remove the thin red stripe which runs around the car as i dislike it and am afer a clean look for my car..
please reply with any hints or tips or should i just rip it off?!

I think ya can remove these with a heat gun..heat it up and peel it of then remove whatever sticky residue remains with goo remover....

hia , ive recently done this one my vn , I used a razor ( yes it's going to hurt your paintwork), was advised by friends & then got a touch up kit to fix the paint work , it looks great !

Good advice about the heat gun just watch the temp and heat the panel gently(slowly)it's quicker.I would'nt use a razor unless you have to.Try a small rubber wheel in a die grinder or drill if you have to.Works great.

Chances are your gonna have to touch it up anyhow. Paint will be brighter than the rest of the car simply because it has had no sunlight. Good luck NOT damaging at least the clear coat.
