howz it going,
i would just like some direction from someone in the know with a HJ Holden sedan.
i am currently turning this car into a street/strip car and i wanted to upgrade the brakes & possibly axles ect.
is there another type of vechile to upgrade to total new steering and braking parts from that will bolt-up to my existing "H" fram?
and
i would also like to change the steering box setup for a rack & pinion setup.
i am unable to find much detail in either of these areas so if someone can help me out i would be fukn stoked
cheers

I'd go for a WB Statesman rear end set up.Disc to Disc and should be a fairly straight swap thou the ratio's aren't much good for the strip.{the one I've got is a 2.60 :1 ratio}Plenty are being wrecked just for their front ends and interiors so you shouldn't have too many dramas locating one.
Just remember to grab the front end brake assembly and master cylinder and booster too.

Blacks Racks do rack & pinion steering kits for HJ's power assisted or non power assisted your choice...lil' pricey but not a bad set up....just bolt straight on, As for the brakes Hoppers Stoppers is the place to go for them and you can get 300 or 330 mm big brakes from memory...for 16inch wheels n up
google those two and see what you think
hope this was of some help........
