Moved to Audio Technical section.

In my opinion,i would definantly get a mono block if you want response from your sub/subs,running a 2/3/4 channel amp is always good, but i'd leave one of them for your speakers,as there isn't as much on the tuning side of things on a 2/3/4 channel amp to what there is on a mono amp.
Let me know how you go.
Regards
Scott.

it really depends on the power of ur sub if its over 800 watts get a mono block. but if its less and u also want to power some speakers a good 4 channel will do u would bridge two channels for the sub and run the speakers off seperate channels. a good 1000 watt 4 channel will do it wil run 500 watt into the sub through the bridged chanel and 250 into the six by nines which u can bring the gain down on so you dont blow the speakers.
