How about a section where members or guests might be able to show some decent artwork, of either their rides, or even their, say beer fridges. There`s gotta be some mad lookin art of holdens somewhere.

Hi it would be great to have a monster criuse with members from everywhere dont care what state I'd be in it as long as we could get a month or so warning to get the funds together and also maybe car of the month for those who have great rides on this site 8)

What about maybe getting the site known at race meetings. There`s always someone that races a holden. I`d even try at stock car and drag racing meets. Do a few stickers and hand a few out. Just a thought.

Would be awsome to change the comment things in gallery so other guests cannot diss out poor josh's car and other members rides and make it strictly for members.

Oh and more merchandise would be sweet aswell.

This is something that was annoying me as well. I want to leave it so you dont have to register to sign up, as I think this will get us more comments.

I changed the code yesterday to block the IP addresses of people that post dumb comments from commenting. 95% of the stupid comments were coming from the one address as different names. If any genuine people get blocked by this, post in the forum to let me know. But I think this should be enough.

However, if we still get heaps of stupid comments, we can just go back to only registered gallery users can post comments.

Great idea. Can you email me some of this art to mail@myholden.com . When I have a few pictures, I can make a new section.

I thought we had heaps already...you are clicking on the "Commodore Pics" link in the top left menu, and then clicking on the model you want to see more of, and then clicking each car to view its gallery? 8)
Of course, we are getting more pics every time people add their own cars or email them in to mail@myholden.com.

17 or 18 inch rims look fine on late model commodores,20 inch rims may look all right on those huge Chryslers but on a commodore you need all those HSV style spoilers to make the larger rims suit the car.

maybe you could approach some automotive companies and let them advertise on the site for free in return for some free stuff you could give away as monthly prizes in competitions that would make it a little more exciting
let me know wat you think
