the rod shop does make a good blower the the later V6's but the ones they make for the old 202's i wouldnt trust just from the design of them ..dont get me wrong they could be great ..but i personaly wouldnt use one on a 202

cool project plan. If you look tru some of the older copies of street commodore there are one or two features on 202 turbod cars you might get some idears. I think a high flowed vl turbo ( T3 garret) turbo would work alright as long as you dont want to run serious boost say over about 12 - 14 psi. remember a 202 ci is about 3.3 litre in the new talk. thats a bit bigger than the 3 l nissan rb30. they recon ( i dont really agree ) that the t3 was always a bit too small to fit on the nissan. if you want to go sik, pick up a garret t4 and play with the exhaust propeller whell, to make it spool a little quicker. get internal wastegate, it will save you another 700 - 800 bucks. External waste gates are overrated.

get a hi flow T3 and put T4 internals in it to make it spool faster

will make it go good i reckon and u can run a bit of boost if u get a intercooler i couldnt see a problem with runnin 12 pound boost (would need a intercooler to run much over 9 without problems) and u wouldnt want much more than 12 unless your 202 revs real hard

it can be done and you can find the kits (they are old and secondhand) in the trading post. The blue and black 202s have a habit of splitting in the bore if you run too much boost though
