My Holden Magazine.....
Non model specific holden customisers magazine.
 Hot Gemini's, dropped and bagged Rodeo utes, cheap mods ,5.0l FJ's keggies stato on the first cover, new and old holdens, what people are doing to astra's in europe etc...you get the picture.
Before anyone bags the idea lets get some ideas together.

sounds awesome to me,do we have the $$$ and experience to do this though,i am willing to knuckle in and give it a shot.
anyone else.
maybe traders best buy section etc,how many pages are you looking at making them?

It would be an big outlay and very difficult to make successful.
Leave that to the pro's
But an E-magazine. no printing cost.
We could make question list that any member with a digital camera could do.
Make a template so members could add the info themselves.
So if they know of a wicked Holden or go to a show and find something and can get the owner to talk for free.
kinda like autospeed.

well i could get a few guys to talk on the "big al's poker run" on the 14th if i make it,that actually sounds like a kick arse idea mate,no costs,i'll be in on this one for sure.

Yeah its a cool idea. With a similar theme to the site, cars and mods that are more realistic and affordable to most people.
Theres plenty of websites and magazines out there dedicated to show cars, and while we all love looking at keggies stato and a couple of the other beautiful show cars on the site, I think a lot of people come back here because we talk about mods that most people can do, we will put up more common cars on our site etc.
While it would be awesome to get a printed magazine happening, I'd either have to win lotto or find lots of sponser to pay for it. I think we should start wtih an emagazine as VP-S-5spd suggested, and see how things go from there. If anyone knows anyone that would like to advertise in the e-magazine definantly talk to either me, VP-S or I-H8. To help sell it to sponsers, our forum has 768 members (most of whom would have given a valid email address), and the myholden.com site gets over 20,000 unique visitors per month.
I think we should try and put heaps of basic cheap mods that people can do to their cars, we could pull a lot of stuff from the forum, as well as featuring a few cars each issue.
If people that are keen to do stuff would like to post in this thread what they can do, it would be great. I think we would need people to do the following:
Someone to design a newsletter template (Most likely in HTML)
Someone to collate the technical articles
Someone to do some graphic design type stuff
Probably others i havent thought of, so volunteer what you would like to do if youre keen

a mate from aussiev8.com.au has done some 308,Path To Power articles,i could get him to share some of that information,if he wants his name on there and he could be famous for it,and if we want,have our little project car  .
i doubt we could do that for the fact we are a australia wide website.i've got loads of guys with cool cars,i can gather some info and try and make a front page for you guys.i'll do loads of samples and see what you like.

i wreckin ya should put an add in street commodoors or street machine or say perth street car before ya go fo the hole in one and make a magazine

you could do it in like pdf form.
you could also start avertising myholden.com in street commodore etc.
