There is a CD stuck in my standard VY CD player and all the screen says when I hit the CD button is "CD Error". Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the CD? My new car warranty ran out last month and I don't really want to take it in for something that could potentially be very easy to fix.

Would love some help!!

Get the screw driver out mate, ure in for a long and complicated, job:P basically pull it out, and unscrew it all, but for gods sake, make sure u no wat ure doing, Personally, i wouldnt do it, take it to a component sparky or a Auto lecky, but if u got the time the determination, and a photographic memory Go for ure life unscrew every screw till u get to the CD player, component, then take off the casing, remove the cd put it all back together, and Pray that it works, if it doesnt, have a bit of a cry then buy a nice new double din Dvd player:P

Soz mate i personally wouldnt do it, but thats just me, dont like to go jumping into unknown territory

I have found a much easier solution. Simply disconnect the battery, recconect it and then press eject. That should spit the CD out provided it is not phisically jammed in there. This worked fine for me. Good luck!
